Our Sourcing and Plantations
With our in-depth local knowledge and proprietary database of plantations, we focus our sourcing on the northern regions of Brazil. The first plantation with which we signed a supply agreement is located in the state of Pará. Covering 3,500 hectares, it holds approximately 1 million m³ of eucalyptus trees. The plantation primarily consists of the Urograndis eucalyptus species, a hybrid of Eucalyptus urophylla and Eucalyptus grandis. This locally developed hybrid is the result of decades of research and is perfectly adapted to the climate and soil conditions of northern Brazil, producing fast-growing trees with a high pulp yield.
We exclusively work with long-term supply agreements, focusing on plantations in northern Brazil not only for the high-quality eucalyptus available in the region but also for the strategic logistical advantages it offers for international trade and delivery. We provide our customers with domestic or international deliveries of wood logs, either FOB – harvested and delivered to port or CIF – delivered to the customer’s location.
Currently, we are finalizing the FSC certification of our first plantation, reinforcing our commitment to responsible and sustainable forestry.
