Eternali signs new twelve-month biomass supply agreement with Oleoplan S.A.

Eternali has signed a new supply agreement with Oleoplan S.A. for the coming twelve months, marking a significant expansion of the collaboration between the two companies. Under the new terms, Oleoplan will more than double its previous purchase volumes from Eternali.

Founded in 1979, Oleoplan S.A. is one of Brazil’s leading producers of biodiesel and vegetable oils, operating across five states with headquarters in Porto Alegre (RS). The company plays an important role in Brazil’s ongoing energy transition through its production of renewable fuels.

Oleoplan first partnered with Eternali earlier this year through pilot shipments to its facility in Tomé-Açu, Pará. Following the successful results of these initial deliveries, the company has now committed to a long-term biomass supply from Eternali.

“This new agreement is another strong confirmation that our products meet the expectations of leading players in the renewable energy sector,” says Gustavo Silveira, COO of Eternali. “We are grateful for Oleoplan’s continued trust in our operations and development in both Moju and Benfica, from where we will produce and deliver the volumes to Oleoplan.”

Under the agreement, Eternali will supply between 12,000 and 18,000 tons of biomass over the next twelve months, with the possibility of extending the partnership further.
