Eternali signs first customer order

Skogsaktiebolaget Eternali ("Eternali") has signed its first order for delivery of biomass to a customer in Europe. The buyer is BSL Comércio Internacional S.A., a Portuguese trading company that operates large volumes of wood fibre to the international market. The order is for a first shipment of 10,000 tons of wood chips.

The signed agreement with BSL is for a first order with shipment during 2023 with a value of approximately SEK 7 million. The plan for the new partnership with BSL is then to continue with ongoing deliveries by larger volumes following the first shipment.

-          It is an important step for us as a company to now move into delivering our products to customers. After a year of hard work in preparing and converting the plantation assets, building the logistical structure and planning for all certifications and regulatory permits for our plantations, it feels great to have found a partner like BSL for the first shipment of biomass. This order is all about proof of concept that will open up many doors for us for other offtake agreements with bioenergy producers and the paper/pulp industry, says Andreas Forssell, CEO of Eternali.
