Eternali Expands and Establishes Its Next Wood Chip Facility in Brazil

Eternali has acquired additional land in the city of Moju, located in the Pará region of northern Brazil, for the establishment of the company’s next production facility for wood chips, or biomass. The acquisition is part of Eternali’s expansion as a biomass supplier to major customers in the region.

The new plot covers 3,3 hectares of land located right next to Eternali’s current production facility in Moju. With the purchase of this new land, Eternali will now have a total of 5,4 hectares for two production facilities.

“We have had a very fast and successful start of our first production facility with a great team on site, delivering high-quality products and receiving very positive feedback from customers. Given the high demand for our biomass in the Moju area, it feels natural to establish our next facility here, enabling us to increase our deliveries to already established customer contacts,” says Gustavo Silveira, COO of Eternali.

Work to prepare the land for the new production facility will begin immediately after the New Year. The Moju facilities are located near Belém, where Eternali’s Brazilian headquarters are situated. The area is home to several sawmills, providing easy access to, and competitive pricing for, raw materials (by-products from forests and sawmills).
