Eternali Establishes New Production Facility in Pará, Brazil
Eternali has finalized the acquisition of land and has now ordered a new wood chipper for its upcoming production facility for wood chips and biomass. The new plant will be located in the Benevides area, just outside the city of Belém in the state of Pará, northern Brazil. Production is scheduled to commence at the beginning of the new year.
For nearly a year, Eternali has operated a production facility in Moju, also in Pará, where customer demand has been exceptionally strong. Over the past year, the Moju site has been optimized while the company has been actively securing capital to enable its next expansion. In October, financing was secured, paving the way for the development of the new facility in Benevides. With this expansion, Eternali strengthens its geographical presence within the state.
– When this opportunity arose, we knew we had to act. Benfica – the area within Benevides where we are establishing the new site – is a highly attractive location, with many sawmills near our newly acquired land. It is also strategically located from a logistics standpoint, just like Moju. It’s important for us to establish ourselves quickly and secure our position in the region, just as we did in Moju, says Gustavo Silveira, co-founder and COO of Eternali.
The new facility will be situated in an industrial area with several nearby sawmills that will serve as raw material suppliers. Preparatory work on the two-hectare site will begin immediately – including groundwork for the chipper, construction of office space, and improvements to access roads and surrounding infrastructure.
Production is expected to start in early 2026.
